Nothin' to Blame

At least in my liberal neck of the woods, there's a whole lot of talk about the electoral college and abolishment thereof, both on talk radio and by the water cooler, so to speak. If that indicates anything, I'd say, it's a complete bafflement among Democrats about what to blame: Bush won the popular vote, too.

And that shows their hypocrisy (as well as their stupidity). They're complaining about the electoral college because they desperately wanted Kerry to win Ohio's popular vote, thus its 20 electoral votes, putting Kerry into the White House though he lost the popular vote by a much, much greater margin than Bush did in 2000. But wasn't Bush "selected" and "illegitimate" because he lost the popular vote?
